Jane Green is licensed to evaluate, diagnose and treat individuals and families.

Jane enjoys working with children, adolescents, families and finds satisfaction
finding solutions to problems for folks going through change and life transitions.

Ms. Green is a Board Certified Clinical Social Worker and a Court Approved Social Investigator  and Parenting Coordinator. Jane is a Supreme Court Certified Family and County Mediator. 

Ms. Green has a private practice in Bradenton, Florida focusing on family, marital and parenting problems.  Jane often uses a family systems approach taking into account all family members and their needs.  This integrated approach  works well in helping family members achieve peace.

Ms. Green has taken specialized training over the past twenty years  to successfully
work with and serve families in trauma and/or transition.

Ms. Green is a graduate of Fordham University, achieving her Bachelors in Psychology, Cum Laude in 1987. Ms. Green achieved her Masters in Social Work with honors from Rutgers School of Social Work in 1993.

 Ms Green has completed  training provided and required by the Twelfth Judicial Circuit  to help parents successfully navigate and implement the 12th Judicial Circuit's parenting plans.  Jane first began working in the Family Court System after taking the first training sponsored by the Court  in 2000.
Ms. Green is listed as a provider on the Twelth Circuit's web site.  Ms. Green is recognized and qualified as an expert witness in family law situations.

Ms. Green is a Court Appproved Social Investigator in divorce cases where parenting issues are at question. She has completed all required training at the Florida Dispute Resolution Center at USF in Tampa, Florida to be certified as a Parenting Coordinator and Family Mediator.

Ms. Green completed Advanced Parenting Coordination Training given by Dr. Joan Kelly .

Ms.Green was employed by Adoption Resources of Florida/MAPS International from 1998-2007. Jane was the Clinical Directorof MAPS/Adoption Resources from 2002 until April 2007.   Ms. Green continues to provide adoption services  privately, working with an attorney.

Prior to relocating to Florida in 1997 Jane worked at Barnert Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey.  She enjoyed working in all areas of medical social work.  She provided psychotherapy to patients and their families in the Intensive Care Unit and the Coronary Care Units. As a medical social worker she assessed high risk cases on the Maternity Unit and provided services to at risk infants in the Neonatal Unit. 

Jane Green developed, implemented and facilitated a successful Teen Mother's educational and psychotherapeutic support group while working at Barnert Hospital. 

Ms. Green was the hospital Pediatric social worker and the liaison with Department of Youth and Family Services. Ms. Green was the psychotherapist in charge of the Fetal Bereavement Program.  She  functioned as an Emergency Room Psychiatric Assessment Clinical Social worker.  

Ms. Green provided services to the HIV and AIDS out-patient clinic and in-patient unit.  Jane provided psychotherapy as well as concrete services to people effected and infected by the HIV/AIDS Pandemic. 

Jane has spent over twenty years in various aspects of clinical social work. Ms Green has been employed in the Barnert Hospital Children and Family Mental Health Center providing psychotherapy to families.  Ms. Green worked as a psychotherapist at Bergen Regional Counseling Center, Hackensack, New Jersey and began a private practice in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.  
  
Ms. Green is Co-President of and serves on the Board of Directors of the Family Court Professional Collaborative of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit.  Working with Attorneys, Financial Planners and the Judiciary to collaborate in supporting the efforts of the Family Division of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit is challenging and rewarding.  The Twelfth is a model circuit for  Florida and nationwide.  The FCPC offers the only conference sponsored annually by the Twelfth Judicial Circuit.  The FCPC uses funds from conferences and donations to improve the programs and services offered by the court to the community.  . 

Jane Green belongs to the Association for Families and Conciliation Courts, an association devoted to effecting change for families effected by divorce and the troubling issues evoked by family discord.  Ms. Green is a member of the Florida Association of Professional Mediators.
